Feb. 9, 2012—Kindergarten
registration packets were mailed in late January to the
families of students in our census who are eligible to attend
kindergarten during the 2012-2013 school year. If you did not
receive one, please contact
Denise Koskey as soon as possible at 518-355-1342, ext.
5080.
Kindergarten registration and an orientation program will be
held at Jefferson Elementary School on Wednesday, March 14. To
streamline the registration process, parents should complete and
return the necessary paperwork in advance of the spring event.
Both parents and children are encouraged to
attend the event, which serves as an opportunity to become more
familiar with the kindergarten program and some of the staff.
Students will take a short bus ride and participate in other fun
activities.
Is my child eligible for
kindergarten?
Children who will become five years or older on or before December 1,
2012, are eligible to start kindergarten in September 2012.
