Special appearances were made by the Grinch, Yoda, a gorilla and
a witch who wandered the course. In addition to seeing staff in
costume and raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, fifth-
through eighth-graders were treated to ghostly music, a great
physical work-out, snacks and prizes.
Students raised more than $2,600 for the
Make-A-Wish Foundation this year. The organization grants
wishes
for children and teens who are seriously ill. Last year,
Schalmont’s generosity helped grant a child's wish to go on a
family vacation to visit his grandparents in Sanibel Island,
Florida.
