Jefferson students perform in summer honor choir

group photo of honor choir August 30, 2011—This summer, twelve Jefferson Elementary School students performed in the New York State School Music Association/American Choral Directors Association Elementary Children's Honor Choir.

The students are Jesse O'Dell, Lexy Delanoy, Haven Goldstein, Megan Stuart, Gabrielle VanDyk, Mikayla Schaefer, Taylor Godlewski, Zamaria Greenwood, Skyler Pudvah, Michaela Lynch, Katherine Shattuck and Emily Quick.

The group was directed by Emily Ellsworth, an internationally known children's choir conductor. Students were prepared for the performance by Jefferson Elementary School teacher Kathleen Bragle.

Congratulations to this talented group of musicians!
