Jan. 3, 2012—Schalmont Central School District officials will
begin the 2012-13 budget development process with a public
budget forum on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. in
the Schalmont High School auditorium.
The event, open to all district residents and
school community members, will feature a presentation on the
current state of the district as well as many of the economic,
regulatory and political issues currently facing our school
district, including the
property tax levy cap.
A series of meetings will be held leading up to
the annual school budget vote on Tuesday, May 15. All of the
meetings are open to the public and feature an informative
presentation followed by an opportunity to comment and ask
questions.
