This March, the Schalmont Board of
Education took time to recognize several Schalmont High School
sports teams and student-athletes for excellence in athletics
during the 2007-2008 winter season.
Winter Scholar-Athlete Teams
Individual Students
- Boys Swimming Team member
Devin Hallam qualified for state competition
- Three Wrestling Team members
placed in the Section II State Qualifier: Billy Chandler
(third), Vincent Gallo (second) and Sammy Shields
(third)
- Hockey Team
member Kyle McKelvey set a state record for # of goals
scored in one hockey game (9)
