Schalmont
Central School District's 50th Anniversary Celebration
|
|
|
On March 19, 1955,
the residents of our community took a giant leap of
faith when they approved a plan to centralize 13 small,
independent school districts, creating the Schalmont
Central School District. Two years later, the brand new
Schalmont Junior-Senior High School first opened its
doors. That is why the 2006 - 2007 school year will be
devoted to celebrating our district's rich heritage; the
students, faculty and staff who've walked our halls; and
the community whose support means so much to us. Celebration details
and articles highlighting our district's history are
posted below. |
