Now in his second term, Michael DellaVilla is president of the Schalmont Board of Education. He also is president of Latham Software Sciences and has over 20 years of experience in information technology.

DellaVilla serves on the Rotterdam Town Council. He also volunteers his time as a coach for Capital District Girls Basketball and Girls AAU Basketball. He is involved in a variety of organizations, including Rotterdam soccer, little league, girls softball, and Pop Warner football.

After graduating from Schalmont High School in 1981, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Siena College.

DellaVilla lives with his wife, Debbie, on Debbie Drive in Rotterdam. Their three children, two daughters and a son, all attend Schalmont schools.
