Sandra Beloncik
President
Term: July 1, 2010 -
June 30, 2013
Sandra Beloncik is serving her
sixth term on the Schalmont Board of Education, currently as
president. She previously
served as board vice president for the 2004-05 and 2005-06
school years.
She is an active member of the New York State School
Boards Association (NYSSBA), having served as a voting delegate
for seven years and as a member of the Resolutions Committee for
three years. She also has served as the Capital District
School Board Association (CAPSBA) representative for Schalmont for
eleven years. Since 2000, she has been a trustee on the Capital Region Board
of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) Board of Education.
In July of 2008, she was elected president of the board.
At Schalmont, Beloncik has served as a secretary for the Friends of Music,
as an officer of Woestina Little League, and on various Schalmont elementary, middle
and high school Parent-Teacher organizations (PTO). She
also has served the community as a fund raiser for Capital District Junior
Achievement and Channel 17, an advisory board member for
Rotterdam DARE, and the vice chair
of the Town of Rotterdam Ethics Committee for seven years.
Beloncik graduated from Mohonasen High School, and attended
Brockport University. She and her husband, Michael, have
two children, Jack and Cheryl, who are both Schalmont graduates. |

Gregory Campoli
Vice President
Term: July 1, 2009 - June 30,
2012
Gregory
Campoli was elected to his first term on the school board in May
2009.
He is currently serving as vice president. Campoli is the supervisor of reliability, compliance and assessment
at the New York Independent System Operator. NYISO operates the
state’s bulk electricity grid and administers the state’s
wholesale electricity markets.
He served on the Community
Budget Advisory Committee in Schalmont during the 2008-09 school
year. He has also
volunteered as a coach for the Rotterdam Pop Warner, CYO
Basketball, Rotterdam Little League and Rotterdam Youth Soccer
programs.
Campoli is a Schalmont High School alumnus. He earned
a bachelor’s degree in electric power engineering from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in
business administration from Union College.
He and his wife,
Colleen, have a son who currently attends Schalmont Middle
School.

Michael DellaVilla
Term: July
1, 2010 - June 30, 2013
Michael DellaVilla is serving his third term on the Schalmont Board of Education.
He is president of Latham Software
Sciences and has over 20 years of experience in information
technology.
DellaVilla serves on the Rotterdam Town Council.
He also volunteers his time as a coach for Capital District
Girls Basketball and Girls AAU Basketball. He is involved in a
variety of organizations, including Rotterdam soccer, little
league, girls softball, and Pop Warner football. After graduating from Schalmont High School in
1981, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Siena College. DellaVilla lives with his wife, Debbie, on Debbie Drive in
Rotterdam. They have three children—two daughters who are
Schalmont alumnae, and a son who attends Schalmont High School.

Albert "Bert" Falcone
Term: July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2012
Albert Falcone
is serving his second term on the school board. He is the owner
of Mars Group, LLC, and self-employed as a manufacturers
representative. Falcone is a member of the Northeast Retail
Lumber Association and the American Millwork Distributors
Association. He is also involved in the Schalmont Summer Band
and the Dollars for Scholars program. He previously spent
several years involved in the Rotterdam youth soccer program. Falcone earned a bachelor’s degree in music
education from the College of St. Rose. He and his wife, Debbie,
have two children who are Schalmont alumnae.

Michael Pasquarella
Term: July 1, 2011 - June
30, 2014
Michael
Pasquarella was elected to his first term on the school
board in May 2011. He is a
clinical pharmacy manager with Ellis Medicine. Pasquarella also
chairs the Town of Rotterdam Ethics Committee and is an active
committee member for the Our Lady Queen of Peace Annual Festa.
He recently served on the
Schalmont Community Budget Advisory Committee.
After graduating from Schalmont High School in 1986, he earned a
bachelor's degree and a doctorate from the University of
Minnesota, College of Pharmacy. He and his wife, Carmela, have two children
currently attending Schalmont schools, one at the elementary
level and one at the middle school level.

Robert Sheehan
Term:
July 1, 2010 - June
30, 2013
Robert Sheehan is serving his third term on the Schalmont Board of Education.
He is a pharmacy manager at Saint Clare’s
Hospital.
He is a member of the American Society of Health
Systems Pharmacists, the Northeast Society of Hospital
Pharmacists and the American Pharmaceutical Society. He is also
a soccer official and member of the Eastern Board Approved
Soccer Officials Association. Sheehan graduated from Schalmont High School and
later attended Union University and Albany College of Pharmacy. He lives with his wife, Sharon, on Autumn Run in Rotterdam.
They have three children: two daughters and a son who are Schalmont High
School alumnae.

Kevin J. Thompson
Term: July 1, 2011 - June
30, 2014
Kevin
Thompson is serving his third term on the Schalmont Board of
Education. He is the chief
financial officer of Quandt’s Foodservice Distributors, Inc. He also is licensed in
New York State as a certified public accountant (CPA). Thompson has coached Rotterdam Little League for
the past several years. He also volunteers his time as an
instructor for business/accounting courses at SUNY Cobleskill’s
Community Outreach Program. Prior to serving on the school
board, he served on the Schalmont Budget Advisory Committee for
over 7 years. His professional memberships include the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the NYS Society of
CPAs. Thompson received his bachelor’s degree from the
University at Albany. He and his wife, Carol, live on Becker Crossing
in Schenectady. They have two children who both attend Schalmont
schools.
