At sectionals, Schalmont swimmer Devin Hallam was on the:

As an individual at sectionals, Hallam placed fifth in the
100 yard Freestyle with a state qualifying time of 49.43.

Sophomore Ian Cohn qualified for sectionals in the 200
Individual Medley, 500 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke.

At the state meet, Devin placed 23rd in the 100 Free with a
school record of 48.98 and 23rd in the 200 Free Relay.

This season, the
team was led by eighth-grader Natasha Bidwell with a 180
average, 11th-grader Renee Tomasek with a 172 average and
ninth-grader Meredith Juers with a 174 average.
Meredith Juers had
the highest three-game series (i.e. high triple) with a
score of 666.
Wrestling - 2006:
- Senior and team
co-captain Jeremy Cuomo, coming off of a perfect 38-0 record
and a New York State championship, secured his fifth
straight title at the Saratoga tournament, third straight
title at the Fonda tournament (where he was voted most
outstanding wrestler), fifth straight title in the Class C
tournament, fourth Section II title, and a fourth trip to
the NYS tournament. He placed fourth at the NYS championship
tournament in March 2007.
- Co-captain John Chandler,
a junior, was third at Mohonasen, third at Saratoga, and
second at the Class C tournament.
- Sophomore Billy Chandler
was third at Mohonasen, third at Saratoga, and placed third
at the Class C tournament. He also was voted the most
outstanding wrestler at the Sabre Duals Tournament.
- Freshman Vincent Gallo
placed third at Mohonasen, second at Saratoga, first at
Fonda, and second at the Class C tournament.
- Eighth-grader Sammy
Shields finished third at Mohonasen, second at Fonda, and
fifth at the Class C tournament.
