Boys Cross Country – 2006:

  • Won 4, Lost 4
  • Matt Curiano and Mike Notar were again named to the Colonial Council All Stars 1st Team.
  • Matt Curiano finished second in the Section II Class B state qualifier, and became the first runner in Schalmont history to qualify for the New York State Championships.  Last year, he was the first runner at Schalmont to qualify as a first alternate to the state championships.

Boys Soccer, Junior Varsity – 2006:

  • Won 17, Lost 1, Tied 0
  • Colonial Council Co-champions
  • Team scored 102 goals this season!

Boys Soccer, Modified – 2005:

  • Won 7, Lost 0, Tied 2
  • 1st Place in Colonial Council
  • Celebrating their 2nd straight undefeated season!
  • Leading scorers: Joe Amorosi, Zack Saccocio

Boys Soccer, Varsity – 2007:

  • Section II Class B Regional Champions for the second year in a row
  • New York State Scholar/Athlete team
  • Marc Case, Kyle Longo, Casey Jensen, and Carlo Viscusi were named to the Section II Class B All-star Team.
  • Casey Jensen was selected for the NYS All-state Team. He also received the Section II Class B Goalkeeper of the Year Award.
  • Carlo Viscusi also was selected for the NYS All-state team and was named the Section II Class B Co-Player of the Year.
  • Coach Chris Bailey was named a finalist for Coach of the Year Honors.

Boys Swimming, Varsity – 2006:

  • The Mohonasen-Schalmont Boys' Varsity Swim Team consists of three Mohonasen swimmers and one Schalmont swimmer, Devin Hallam.
  • The team broke a 12-year record for the 200 freestyle relay on Jan. 9, 2007, by swimming the event in 1.34.26 at the Mohonasen pool.

Girls Cross Country – 2006:

  • Won 3, Lost 5
  • Angie Baggetta and Roxanne Hammond were again named to the Colonial Council All Stars 1st Team.

Girls Soccer, Modified – 2006:

  • Won 9, Lost 0, Tied 1
  • 1st place in Colonial Council
  • Celebrating their 3rd straight undefeated season!
  • Leading scorers: Megan Strijek, Juliana DeLorenzo, Katie Saccocio

Girls Soccer, Varsity – 2006:

  • Won 20, Lost 4, Tied 0
  • Colonial Council co-champions
  • Section II, Class B champions and regional champions
  • New York State Final Four team
  • NYS Scholar/Athlete team
  • Lisa Tarquinio - 1st team Colonial Council, 1st team Section II, 1st team All-state, named player of the year
  • Carolyn Barber - 1st team Colonial Council, 1st team Section II
  • Brittany McDonald - 1st team Colonial Council, 1st team Section II, 1st team All-state, named goal-keeper of the year
  • Jessica Strang - 1st team Colonial Council, 1st team Section II, 2nd team All-state
  • Laura Snowden - 2nd team Colonial Council
  • Chelsea McGuigan - 2nd team Colonial Council
  • Amanda Adkins - 3rd team Colonial Council
  • Coach Angelo Caschera named "Coach of the Year"

Girls Swimming and Diving, Varsity – 2006:

  • Three swimmers and divers qualified for Class A Sectionals.
  • Out of 460 Section II swimmers, Schalmont sent two of the only 35 who made it to states.
  • In diving, senior Ashley Van Patten finished seventh in sectionals with a 395.90, and went on to the New York State meet, where she finished 33rd with a 176.95. She is a two-time New York State Qualifier in Diving.
  • In swimming, junior Amanda Vitullo finished second at sectionals in the 50 freestyle with a 24.90, and went on to states, where she finished 18th with a 24.93. She is a three-time New York State Qualifier in Swimming.
  • Eighth-grader Dana Hallam finished 14th in the 200 freestyle with a 2.09.25, and 12th in the 500 freestyle with a 5.47.10.
  • The girls placed eighth in the 200 freestyle, with Hallam and Vitullo on hat relay at a time of 1.49.03.
  • Senior Kaitlyn Oudt finished ninth in the 400 freestyle relay.

Girls Tennis – 2005:

  • Won 3, Lost 4
  • Swantja Bramlege finished the season undefeated in Colonial Council at #2 singles (1st time ever).

Girls Volleyball – 2005:

  • Won 13, Lost 1
  • 2005 Tip-Off Tournament Champions
  • 2005 Colonie Invitational Tournament, Semi-Finalists
  • 2005 SHS Invitational Tournament Champions
  • Colonial Council Co-Champions
  • Section 2, Class AA Champions
  • 1st Team All Stars: Nicole Izzo, Jen D'Alessandro, Lauren DellaVilla and Samantha Kowalczyk
  • 2nd Team All Stars: Alyssa Trigger, Sanita Bagetta
  • Honorable Mention: Roxanne Becofsky
  • 2005 Colonial Council Exceptional Setter: Nicole Izzo
  • Numerous School Records broken by: Nicole Izzo, Jen D'Alessandro, Lauren DellaVilla and Samantha Kowalczyk

Golf – 2007:

  • Won 9, Lost 5
  • Third Place in Colonial Council Tournament
  • Conor Hart was awarded Colonial Council first Team All-Star and Schalmont Most Improved Player.
  • Nick Longo was awarded Colonial Council Second Team All-Star and Schalmont Most Valuable Player.
